Well. . .congratulations are in order for Sally Barker!

Those of you who watched ‘The Voice’ as I did on Saturday must have been thrilled for all the contestants and Sally’s duet with Tom Jones, for me, was stunning. I was also moved by Will.I.Am (did I spell that correctly?)’s words just after Jermaine won. . . great food for thought and a wise observation and reminder of the industry out there.

For me, at the end of the day, I am so happy that Sally’s timeless voice and delivery have now made it to a wider public – a classic voice, a classic song and classic music never age and so it is with Sally. It makes me smile broadly.

I also forgot to tell you that Penny Walford (IOW artist) is having a show of her work at the moment at Quarr Abbey, Isle of Wight till 9th April. Her work is superb and inspired by the sea – hope you can get along to see it.

Meanwhile, I needed to share these birds with you because they are a delight.
