Well hello there!

. . . it’s Ventnor Fringe Week this week and there’s some wonderful events all over – see www.vfringe.co.uk for details. I’m hopping over to see quite a few events, such as :

Vaguely Sunny’s concerts . . .There’s Rod Clements (of Lindisfarne fame and wrote their well known song ‘Meet Me On The Corner”) on Thursday, August 14th at 8.00pm. http://www.rodclements.com/

Then on Friday August 15th, there’s the new UK band Gyspyfingers whose musical style is cinematic pop/folk and starts at 7.30pm. Their  guitarist is Luke Oldfield and is the son of Mike Oldfield of Tubular Bells fame. http://www.gyspyfingers.com/Both concerts will be at Holy Trinity Church, Ventnor and tickets are £10.

On Saturday, Vaguely Sunny are hosting the Halsey Duo – Sally (piano) and James (‘cello) at St Catherine’s Church, Ventnor at 3pm and tickets are £7.

Plus there’s a couple of very interesting events with local writer / director / playwright John Goodwin :

Notice on the second event here that it continues for 12 hours!!!

All tickets can be bought via the VFringe box-office 0843 289871 or on-line www.vfringe.co.uk and it’s well worth seeing the programme on line – take a peek!

I was very happy to attend the Piano Accordion CD 3 (Bunch of Keys) concert last weekend in Cavan – what a fantastic evening!!! I’ll be back with pictures and a full report in the next few days. The new Bunch of Keys CD is now available and it’ll be up on my website shortly along with Creative Accordion Days in Bangor, Norwich and Frome.

Have a very splendid day!
